Viktor Vaughn - Vaudeville Villain

"V Vaughn, the travellin' vaudeville villain." MF Doom is here. With his best persona ever. In this album, his lyrics are much the same as what you'd find on any other doom album: Dope as fuck. But with this album, it's all about how he delivers it. His character this time around is Viktor Vaughn, a scientist with a jacked up face. Pretty much a staple as far as "rap-personas" go. But, his voice is off the fucking charts. He delivers lines so powerfully. It's pretty sick.
As far as the beats go, none of them are from people you've heard of (except maybe RJD2). The tracks are produced by Heat Sensor, King Honey, Max Bill (all of the Sound-Ink record label) and RJD2 ("Saliva"). So they're not madlib or self produced. It's a nice and fresh change. It's good to hear doom go over something that's not his usual style. Nonetheless, they're still great and kicking. Saliva is one of my favorites. It's so good.
If you're a doom fan: here you go, prepare to cum. If you're a rap fan: check this shit out.

"A lotta groups seem to act like a violent mob, when they really just need to shut the fuck up like silent bob."
